Role Overview:

As an Information Security Risk Specialist, you will be part of the Information Security Governance and Assurance organization with the objective of ensuring McAfee’s third party supplier information security risks are identified, communicated and appropriately managed.

About the role:

  • Contributing to the maturity of the overall third party risk management framework and methodology
  • Training the procurement team on the third party security risk management process, including roles and responsibilities
  • Initiating and reviewing third party security assessments and recording appropriate level of risks in a centralized automated tool
  • Providing recommendations to the business on how to lower supplier risk, or where necessary, ensure risk sign-off is captured appropriately
  • Ensuring security requirements are included in contracts when required
  • Reporting on metrics relating to third party security risk management activities

About You:

  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen
  • The ability to translate technical language into business terms
  • The ability to tell a story in your presentations, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-5 years’ experience in information security, IT or risk related function
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including information security management frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO2700x, PCI, SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, SOX, COBIT), preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM, preferred
