Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional to join the Worldwide Sales Finance team as a Financial Analyst Intern, reporting to the EMEA Financial Analysis Manager of WWS Finance. For this project the focus will be the review of the key and recurring Sales finance reports to identify opportunities to streamline, drive automation and utilize best practices. The aim would be to professionally train the candidate on a selected BI tool to drive efficiency through the transition from excel of the more relevant analysis reports. Based on the key KPIs and the way we analyze the business we would like to receive advice and have super users trained on the best layout and calculation approach.
The right candidate will possess strong aptitude for financial analysis, building and delivering reliable, accurate and timely financial data, modeling and analysis. Technically sound, passionate for process improvement, organization savvy, detailed oriented but also able to think strategically and ability to work proactively with key stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the projects related to analysis improvement
  • Establish strong partnership with the key stakeholders to provide analysis support for the assigned business group.
  • Help build robust and efficient financial analysis for new business metrics
  • Work across functions to drive efficient layout and tool used, and leverage best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Business equivalent;
  • Technically sound, systems savvy with advanced skills in Excel modeling; Experience in BI tool (i.e. Power BI) is a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights; Create innovative solution to solve problems
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Enjoy working as part of a global team
