Job Description
Technology Enablement Group (TEG) is a part of Platform Enablement Solutions Group (PESG). The charter of the group is to enable external foundry ecosystem to the product design teams across various domains. This is a position at Intel`s Technology Enablement Group in Bangalore, joining a team of experienced engineers (located on different sites) working on different fields of process design kit development (PDK), platform support and design automation. As a platform support engineer you will be interfacing with product development group and flows enablement group. You will be involved in evaluating new software packages, develop scripts for automation of design or layout steps, enabling new flows for product teams. You will also be responsible for testing of the software packages within the given design flow, evaluation of new EDA software and the development of new design methods. All of these tasks will bring you in contact with newest technology nodes, our newest product lines and the related design teams. In this position continuous learning is mandatory as you will be confronted with many new challenges during your daily work. As we are supporting all steps of the product development, the designs will be done full-custom as well as semi-custom. Special tasks could include the development of scripts to check new design rules, electrical behavior of circuits, design automation steps. A good background in design or layout work is needed to be successful in this job, as we have to fulfill the needs of our design teams with respect to comfort and productivity.
Degree BS/MS in Electronics engineering Experience 5-7 years Qualifications � Proven skills as design automation engineer working as developer for design flows (AMS/R2G) and methodologies. � Good understanding of tools used in analog mixed signal flow (AMS flow) -virtuoso, calibre, ICV � Basic understanding of digital chip development tools - ICC2, innovous � Programming skills required, Perl, Python, C++, Skill or Tcl as well as UNIX/LINUX system know how. � Familiar with newest Windows and related Office packages � Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills needed � Demonstrate good documentations skills � Ability to work on different topics in parallel helpful Inside this Business Group
