Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: test automation, refactoring code, test-driven development, build infrastructure, optimizing software, debugging, building tools, and testing frameworks.
  • Experience in Java or Python, and an additional programming language.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience testing and deploying software with robust credentialing and access controls.
  • Experience developing tools to automate research data collections.
  • Experience with real time data pipeline architectures.
  • Experience working in cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the performance and quality of Fitbit products on multiple areas (backend, mobile, and firmware).
  • Build advanced internal tools such as dashboards and infrastructure to help automate research data collections and evaluations of new products.
  • Create test strategy and develop test automation.
  • Oversee release planning and release execution.
